Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless frozen chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Pour the olive oil and chicken broth into the inner pot of the electric pressure cooker.
  2. Place the frozen chicken breasts into the pot, separating them slightly if they are frozen together.
  3. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper evenly over the tops of the frozen chicken.
  4. Close the lid and set the steam release valve to the 'Sealing' position.
  5. Select 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' on High Pressure for 12 minutes.
  6. Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow for a 10-minute Natural Pressure Release (NPR).
  7. Carefully turn the valve to 'Venting' to release any remaining steam.
  8. Remove chicken to a plate and use a digital meat thermometer to ensure the thickest part of the breast has reached 165°F (74°C).
